This NY Giants trade for Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy could work

Here we go again. With it being reported that the Denver Broncos are expected to try and trade one of their wide receivers, NY Giants fans are calling for general manager Joe Schoen to make a move here. This happened leading up to the trade deadline as well, with plenty of Big Blue supporters hoping that Jerry Jeudy would make his way to East Rutherford.

Once again, those same folks and more are keeping their fingers crossed that Jeudy will end up playing in the NFC East catching balls from Daniel Jones. With Denver not going to give him away for peanuts, we still think the Giants can make something work.

With that said, NY sending its second round pick – the No. 57 overall selection – could be enough to get Jeudy to town. While losing a second-rounder would sting, Jeudy is more than worth it.

Sources with multiple teams believe the Broncos could trade a WR. Denver has had talks with teams about Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler. Teams say the Broncos are asking high prices, not just dumping, but it’s not out of the question one gets moved.

The Broncos trading Jerry Jeudy to the NY Giants would be awesome to see

Imagine this deal were to go through for the G-Men. This would bring in an exciting young playmaker for the offense, one that Jones desperately needs. Not only that, but then the Giants could use their No. 25 overall pick on an interior offensive lineman, potentially Florida guard O’Cyrus Torrence.

Come on, you know you’d love that to go down. Thus far this offseason, Schoen has re-signed Isaiah Hodgins and Sterling Shepard, two moves the fanbase is pretty fired up about that. However, a true WR1 is needed for this squad. This was supposed to be Kenny Golladay’s role for years to come, but he’ll officially be released on March 15.

Last season for the Broncos, Jeudy caught 67 balls for 972 yards and six touchdowns. This came in Russell Wilson’s terrible first year with Denver. Jeudy was not happy during the campaign, but a fresh start elsewhere could end up being on the way for him.

It’ll be on Schoen to work something out, but a lot of people think Jeudy would look pretty darn good rocking a Giants jersey next season and beyond.
