Shannon Sharpe Expects NFL To Call Aaron Rodgers Over Psychedelic Drug Use (VIDEO)

Aaron Rodgers’ personal health decisions have made it into the spotlight a number of times over the last few years. From his vaccination status to his most recent admission.

Earlier this week, Rodgers admitted to taking a plant-based psychedelic prior to both of his MVP-winning seasons. Rodgers detailed it on the “Aubrey Marcus Podcast”:

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence. I really don’t. I don’t really believe in coincidences at this point. It’s the universe bringing things to happen when they’re supposed to happen.

There’s signs and synchronicities all around us at all times if we’re awake enough to see them and to take them in and to listen to our intuition when it’s speaking to us or pounding us in the head saying, ‘Hey dummy, wake up, this is what you’re supposed to be doing.’=”

Ayahuasca contains a natural form of DMT, which makes it illegal for Aaron Rodgers to consume it in the United States. However, he traveled to South America to consume this substance, meaning he didn’t break any laws inside the country.

However, Shannon Sharpe recently told TMZ that the NFL could definitely give him a call for saying this in public.

Sharpe said: “I’m sure the NFL is probably going to give him a call and say, ‘That’s not a good look’.’ I don’t know if the NFL is too happy about him taking hallucinogenics, I’m sure the commissioner is going to reach out and have a conversation with him. It seems weird to me but whatever helps a person become a better person and find his inner self, I’m cool with it.”

While on Undisputed, Skip Bayless agreed with Sharpe on Goodell’s possible call to Aaron Rodgers.

In the podcast, Rodgers also reveals one of the “best days of (his) life” was a day that he took mushrooms with friends and he felt himself “merge with the ocean.” He even went as far to detail the experience of ayahuasca in 2020, saying he had a “magical experience with the sensation of feeling 100 different hands on my body, of love and forgiveness for myself, and gratitude for this life.”

After that, Rodgers went on to win league MVP in 2020, followed by another MVP in 2021.

Packers are just hoping he can take this drug while in the playoffs so he could play better.
