BUCS Final Four set as university season enters final stretch

Loughborough, Solent, UWE and Newcastle will battle for a spot in the BUCS Championship final this weekend after all winning in their respective quarter-finals last week.

It is three of the four teams that made last years Final Four, with Newcastle, Loughborough, and Solent returning, while University of the West of England Bristol (UWE) replace Durham.

UWE knocked out last yearโ€™s runners up, Durham, 100-59, in the quarter-final, behind a 21-point, 12-rebound from BBL forward Malcolm Delpeche, as they will take on defending champions Newcastle, who escaped Essex 86-74 in their Final Eight match-up, behind 22 points from Jordan May and 17 from Javante Hayes.
