Just when you think the NY Giants are going to suffer a loss, this team finds a way to keep fighting and do the unthinkable. Such was the case in Week 6 going up against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Ravens outgained the Giants 406 to 238 on Sunday, another wild stat illustrating just how insane these Giants upset victories have been. The Giants did what good teams do though when they are outplayed; force critical turnovers to change the complexion of the game.

Gritty, tough, angry, resilient, magical and most importantly fun, are the best adjectives to describe what the Giants are doing this season. It was easy to doubt the Giants during their first couple of games, but you can no longer doubt, as the Giants are legit folks, especially after the 24-20 win. Here are four players in particular who came up huge for Brian Daboll when their numbers were called:

4. Safety Julian Love

After being named captain for the first time in his career this offseason, Julian Love has been on a mission, and he has played the best football of his career. Love currently leads the Giants in tackles, interceptions, and forced fumbles, while being second on the team in tackles for loss.

On Sunday, Love stepped up yet again, leading the Giants defense with two passes defended, while also having five tackles. Love also came in clutch with the play of the day: the game-changing interception of Lamar Jackson.

On the play prior to the interception, the Ravens picked up what we all thought was a back-breaking first down, but it was called back due to an illegal formation penalty. That set up 3rd-and-six, and Wink Martindale decided to send severe pressure at Jackson. The pressure caused the snap to go over Lamar’s head. Jackson then tried to create some magic, but Love made him pay for it.

Love’s pick was the Giants first interception of the season, and there couldn’t have been a better time for it. We also can’t discount the huge 27 yards Love picked up on the return to set up the game-winning touchdown.
